Every year, the St. Anthony’s Hospital Auxiliary makes a large donation to the Foundation to purchase equipment for the hospital. This year, the Auxiliary continued their tradition with a considerable contribution, funding over $121,581 worth of equipment. A few of the items funded include:
- The Savi-Scout device is used for localization of implantable devices in the breast for oncology patients.
- Blessing Bags are for unhoused and indigent patients who need basic hygiene products at discharge.
- Bladder Scanners assess and measure the amount of urine retained in the bladder. The equipment is necessary to assess and plan patient care.
This significant Auxiliary donation ensures that the hospital can continue to provide top-notch care and services to the community, fulfilling critical needs and improving patient outcomes. However, there are still more items needing funding. To view the full list, click here.
