Programs and Services

St. Anthony’s Hospital, of course, provides quality medical care, but also makes sure patients’ mind, body, and spirit are taken care of with additional programs and services. These additional services help provide well rounded care to all patients.

The Foundation recently received numerous requests for equipment and patient program funding through its annual grant season. If you are interested in donating to fund a piece of equipment or program, contact Amy Leuschke, Director of Development, at 727-825-1109 or amy.leuschke@baycare.org.

Here are a few programs the Foundation has recently funded:

Memory Care

Caregiver Wellness Retreat: The retreat provides respite for caregivers, relieving them from their caregiving duties. The weekend provides attendees with accommodations and meals. It’s a time for caregivers to relax, socialize and enjoy activities such as massages, beach yoga, music and dancing.

Mammo Program

Mammogram Voucher Program: Program provides access for a minimum of 350 women to mammography screenings, diagnostic services, and breast cancer treatment for low income, uninsured women who are not eligible for other programs.

Spiritual Care

Spiritual Care: Items like chasubles, a sanctuary lamp, and chalices were purchased to support the chapel. These items create a safe space in the chapel where team members, patients, and families can come to find a place of serenity and reflection.
