Graduate Medical Education

Graduate Medical Education

As part of St. Anthony’s Hospital Foundation’s commitment to quality, compassionate care for our community, one of our funding priorities is graduate medical education. St. Anthony’s Hospital supports the training and education of our future medical professionals.

At the beginning of 2026, Women in Philanthropy members funded simulation lab equipment to bolster the training of our Internal Medicine residents. This equipment helps ensure that residents in the program achieve the highest level of proficiency when providing direct patient care.

Here a few of the items that were funded within the simulator lab equipment grant request:

Laryngoscope Set by Nasco
Central Line Trainer
Lifepak 20 Defibrillator

Laryngoscope Set by Nasco

Medical training and simulation tool designed to help healthcare professionals master the skills needed for airway management.

Central Line Task Trainer

Simulation device used to practice central venous catheter (CVC) placement in a controlled, risk-free environment.

Lifepak 20 Defibrillator

Medical device used to help students learn how to respond to cardiac emergencies in a hands-on manner.
