On Saturday, March 15, the St. Anthony’s Hospital Foundation hosted the Disco in the Desert Gala at The James Museum, raising a record-breaking $529,000 for St. Anthony’s Hospital. This groundbreaking total is a direct result of the generosity of donors and sponsors.
The event immersed guests in a vibrant desert backdrop, illuminated by disco lights and high-energy beats. Attendees showed up in style, from cowboys and cowgirls to disco dancers. In true Western fashion, line dancing lessons took center stage, delighting all.
A highlight of the evening was the mission moment, the “why” behind the entire event. St. Anthony’s Hospital patient Marijon Reed shared her life-threatening cardiac event. Her story illustrated the importance of a cohesive, dynamic healthcare team in delivering the highest quality of care. Beyond top-notch clinical care, the compassion of the healthcare team was a defining part of Marijon’s journey. See Marijon’s full story here.
