St. Anthony’s Hospital Foundation is pleased to announce a $500,000 gift from Garner and Connie Koons in honor of Dr. Kunal Amin to support the expansion of the Susan Sheppard McGillicuddy Breast Center at St. Anthony’s Hospital. In mid-September, St. Anthony’s Hospital Foundation will host an imaging lobby dedication ceremony to unveil this naming gift by Garner and Connie Koons in honor of Dr. Amin.
Thanks to the generosity of Garner and Connie Koons, this donation will fund the purchase of a new mammography unit for the expanding McGillicuddy Breast Center, increasing the volume of patients the breast center can serve. Countless lives are saved each year through early detection, and the addition of this advanced diagnostic tool will enable St. Anthony’s Hospital to offer the latest in mammography imaging technology.
